We provide a comprehensive assessment using the Kaiser Permanente Vulnerability Analysis tool. This tool helps us determine potential risks involving natural hazards, technological hazards, human hazards in addition to hazardous materials. We then work closely with management to help implement solutions and long term strategies within the scope of the facilities’ operation plan.
Fire, Safety and Evacuation Preparedness and Training for Companies
We work with companies to assess their fire safety action plan within the scope of the NYS Fire Department regulations and inspection guideline, helping to implement corrections as needed.
We also offer staff training for fire and safety requirements that include:
- Evacuation floor plans
- Smoke barrier compartment doors and safe refuge areas
- Exit doors locations
- Handicap accessibility protocol
- Primary and secondary evacuation routes
- Understanding R.A.C.E/A.R.C.E. or P.A.S.S.
- Location of all the pull stations with associated procedure during a fire drills
- Description and recognition of all fire alarm equipment (alarm activation, Pull station, smoke detectors, heat detectors, fire extinguishers classification (A,B,C,D,K) and halo-tron foam and sprinklers.)
