Halloween Safety

With fall upon us , we look to the start of the holiday season and a different set of safety concerns. Halloween is highly recognized as a favorite festive day for kids where families, friends and neighbors dress up in costumes to celebrate. People often plan public events, parties,  trick or treat, or celebrate the harvest.  Halloween can be pleasurable as long as we practice safety.

Besides Halloween, this is also the season where marketers and retailers start to advertise for the shopping season.  This brings new challenges with safety from increased traffic as well as extra bags and parcels. So as a safety professional what should I do: I urge that all managers and supervisors prepare by reviewing their Halloween/Holiday policies and procedures with their subordinates to cut risk. Being prepared is a one way to stay ahead of potential situations.

As a Safety and Security Advisor,  I always believe in educating my staff. I have included some great links below to help you with some vulnerabilities during the Halloween holiday.  If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at FritzPenn@gmail.com.
